Lexus is set to make waves in 2026 with an array of updates across its car lineup, including new designs, refreshed models, and limited editions. With a focus on enhancing style, incorporating advanced technology, and boosting performance, the brand is also increasing its offerings of hybrid and all-electric vehicles. While some models are being phased out, others are making a grand entrance with notable upgrades.

2026 Lexus ES

The 2026 ES has been redesigned with an expanded architecture that supports both hybrid and all-electric versions. It features a longer wheelbase of 116.1 inches, an overall length of 202.3 inches, and increased width and height. The rear suspension has been upgraded to a multilink setup, enhancing ride quality and handling abilities.

The ES350h hybrid is powered by a 2.5-liter inline-four engine paired with electric motors, available with standard front-wheel drive (FWD) or optional all-wheel drive (AWD). For those seeking an all-electric option, the ES350e offers 220 horsepower with a projected range of 300 miles, while the ES500e with dual motors provides AWD, 339 horsepower, and approximately 240 miles of range.

Lexus has also refined the exterior of the 2026 ES, drawing inspiration from the LF-ZC BEV concept. It sports a sleek grille for hybrids, dynamic bodyside sculpting, and updated L-shaped daytime running lights and turn signals. The rear boasts new L-Signature taillights, and the entire ES lineup introduces a new Wavelength exterior color.

Inside, the ES features elevated seating for easier access, slimmer seat designs, and lowered window frames for a more open feel. The Executive package, available for the first time in North America on the ES350e FWD Luxury, includes features like reclining rear seats with a passenger-side ottoman, rear massaging and heated seats.

Other interior enhancements include Bamboo layering, synthetic leather trim, and technology upgrades such as a 12.3-inch driver display, a 14.0-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and an enhanced voice assistant. Safety advancements are marked by the introduction of Lexus Safety System+ 4.0, with improved driver assistance capabilities.

Inside, the IS is equipped with a 12.3-inch driver display and a larger touchscreen, replacing the previous smaller screens. New interior elements feature Forged Bamboo trim and a new Radiant Red color option.

Performance improvements include refined electric power steering and suspension, alongside safety upgrades with Lexus Safety System+ 3.0, which offers features like automatic high-beams, emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, and more.
