Beyond basic navigation, PlugShare provides the latest photos, plug information, reviews, and a PlugScore rating system. Charging stations are color-coded for easy identification. Filters allow users to search by connector type, speed, and amenities.
Different electric vehicles use different connector types. These include CCS, NACS/J3400, CHAdeMO, and J1772. To make full use of PlugShare, you need to enter this information in the app along with your car’s model.
Despite the presence of ads, PlugShare’s wealth of information remains free, with an optional subscription to remove ads and support development.
