Significant Milestone for Skyharbour and Terra Clean Energy in Uranium Exploration
In a strategic move to advance uranium exploration, Skyharbour Resources Ltd. (TSX-V: SYH, OTCQX: SYHBF, Frankfurt: SC1P) announced that its partner, Terra Clean Energy Corp., has secured an Exploration Agreement with the English River First Nation. This pivotal agreement, concerning the South Falcon East Property, not only strengthens ties with indigenous stakeholders but also grants access to lands hosting the Fraser Lakes B uranium deposit. Terra, under an option agreement, is poised to earn a 75% interest by investing CAD $10,500,000 in exploration and CAD $11,100,000 in cash payments to Skyharbour over a five-year period.
Map of South Falcon East Project Claims:
The Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment has granted Terra the necessary permits for winter exploration at the South Falcon East Property. Over the next three years, Terra plans to conduct comprehensive exploration, including geophysical surveys and diamond drilling, on the property located 18 km from the Athabasca Basin and 50 km east of the Key Lake uranium mill.
Final preparations are underway for Terra’s winter 2025 drilling program, slated to begin between late January and early February. While focusing on the Fraser Lakes B uranium deposit, Terra will also explore additional drill-ready targets along the Way Lake conductor, including the T-Bone Lake area. The program, with an anticipated budget of $1.5 million, will be managed by Terralogic Exploration Inc., under the supervision of Laura Tennent and C. Trevor Perkins.
Overview of the South Falcon East Project
Spanning approximately 12,464 hectares, the South Falcon East Project is a prominent uranium exploration site situated in the southeast Athabasca Basin. Historical investigations have identified a mineralization zone at Fraser Lakes Zone B, characterized by U-Th-REE deposits along a notable antiformal fold nose intersected by an east-west ductile-brittle structure adjacent to a 65 km EM conductor.
