Companies Flock to Southern Nevada, Adding Over 200 Jobs and Boosting Economic Growth
In a significant boost to Southern Nevada’s economy, several businesses have chosen the region for expansion, bringing in over 200 new jobs and a substantial capital investment of $166 million. According to the Nevada Governor’s Office of Economic Development Board, these projects will contribute to an economic impact exceeding $227 million within two years, spanning sectors like advanced manufacturing, healthcare, clean energy, and technology.
On May 14, 2026, the Las Vegas Global Economic Alliance (LVGEA) proudly announced this development following the approval of state tax incentives for these companies. This move reaffirms Nevada’s dedication to supporting business expansion and economic diversification, solidifying the region as a top destination for innovation in various industries.
“More Nevadans will soon access high-paying jobs thanks to these new investments,” said Governor Lombardo. “My administration is dedicated to driving economic growth by breaking down barriers and providing companies with a clear path to expand here.”
Danielle Casey, President and CEO of LVGEA, highlighted the region’s potential, stating, “Southern Nevada continues to prove itself as a place where innovative companies can launch, scale, and invest for the future.”
Nuance Medical Expands in Clark County
Nuance Medical is set to expand its operations with a new 25,000 square foot headquarters in Clark County, bringing 25 new jobs with an average wage of $37.05 per hour. This expansion involves a $589,000 capital investment and expects to yield a two-year economic impact of over $19.2 million.
Shani Coleman, Director of Community & Economic Development for Clark County, remarked, “Clark County is excited to welcome Nuance Medical and recognize the investments they will make into local jobs and their new facility here.”
Redapt Relocates Headquarters to Henderson
In the technology sector, Redapt has announced plans to move its global headquarters to the City of Henderson, establishing a new Integration Facility for AI infrastructure. This initiative will create 75 jobs with an average wage of $76.59 per hour and anticipates a two-year economic impact of more than $87.1 million.
North Las Vegas Welcomes New Projects
The City of North Las Vegas will also see significant developments. Taylor Print & Visual Impressions, Inc., Edgewood Renewables, and Forge Industries are each bringing new operations to the area, focusing on advanced manufacturing, clean energy, and innovative technology. These projects collectively promise to generate numerous jobs and substantial economic contributions.
North Las Vegas Mayor Pamela Goynes-Brown expressed optimism, stating, “North Las Vegas continues to strengthen its position as a hub for advanced manufacturing, clean energy, and innovative technology.”
