SeaRenergy completed the acquisition of hemmerschütz Solution on 28 November 2025. This move allows SeaRenergy to enhance its engineering, marine services, and offshore expertise by adding in-house capabilities for maintenance and repair tasks.

As part of SeaRenergy, hemmerschütz Solution will access new markets, larger offshore wind projects, and long-term customer relationships while maintaining its core services in corrosion protection, welding technology, and rotor blade maintenance.

This acquisition bolsters SeaRenergy’s capacity to deliver an integrated service offering, including Balance of Plant (BoP), operations and maintenance (O&M), and corrosion protection services across the project lifecycle. The company emphasized the acquisition would enhance resilience against project cycle fluctuations, as demand for offshore wind farm repair and maintenance remains high.

“With the integration of hemmerschütz Solutions, we significantly increase our depth of value creation and further strengthen our role as a long-term partner to our clients,” stated Benjamin Vordemfelde, CEO of SeaRenergy. “Moreover, we are broadening and future-proofing our business while creating new project and development opportunities.”

hemerschütz Solution’s integration into SeaRenergy will occur in the upcoming weeks. “Becoming part of SeaRenergy allows us to further develop our business while building on our hands-on expertise,” said Mark Thomaschütz, Managing Director of hemmerschütz Solution. “Our services will remain clearly identifiable within integrated solutions planned and delivered with SeaRenergy.”
