Davi, a global leader in plate and angle roll production, has sold a large 4-roller MCB plate roll to IDESA, a major international player in designing and manufacturing equipment for the petrochemical, oil and gas, and renewable energy sectors.
The collaboration between Davi and IDESA began at the 2023 Wind Energy event hosted by Davi, where IDESA representatives evaluated Davi’s plate rolling machines.
The Factory Acceptance Test for the machine was completed on August 6, 2024, at Davi’s facility. Installation occurred in mid-October 2024, and the machine is now integrated into IDESA’s production line.
IDESA’s new 4-roller MCB plate roll, with a width of 4,550 mm and capacity for plates up to 225 mm thick, will address the rising demand for more extensive projects. This machine replaces an older model, allowing IDESA to manage thicker plates and enhance its capacity.
Davi is known for producing robust plate rolls used by industry leaders globally. This new equipment will provide IDESA with the technology to process thicker plates, boosting productivity and precision.
“We are excited to work with IDESA and provide them a machine that upgrades their existing equipment, helping them tackle future projects confidently,” stated Filippo Casadio, Davi’s Sales Director in Spain.
