Within this collaboration, KLEM will act as the main contractor for BoP O&M services, while OWC will offer technical assurance and asset management services. OEG will provide marine, subsea, and offshore operational services.

This alliance will allow the companies to offer a unified service to offshore wind farm operators, ensuring safe, efficient, and competitive BoP O&M services in South Korea.

“South Korea aims for 25 GW in offshore wind by 2035. As projects become operational, asset owners will need to maintain reliability and optimize performance. This partnership combines OWC’s technical assurance, KLEM’s delivery capabilities, and OEG’s marine expertise, providing a single integrated approach to BoP O&M,” said William Cleverly, CEO of OWC.

Korea Leading Energy Management (KLEM) provides consulting, engineering, installation, and O&M services for renewable energy projects throughout South Korea.

“Our goal is to offer offshore wind developers a comprehensive solution for inspection, maintenance, and lifecycle support of BoP assets. This partnership allows a more integrated approach to ensuring long-term BoP asset reliability,” stated Boo Jeonghwan, CEO of KLEM.

OEG provides critical infrastructure assets and technical solutions for the global offshore energy sector.

“The offshore environment poses unique challenges for BoP asset maintenance. Partnering with KLEM and OWC enhances asset condition understanding and integrity management,” said David Carr, Chief Commercial Officer at OEG.

OWC assists clients in developing grid-scale renewable energy projects through independent engineering, project development, and asset management services.
