Governor Hochul Recognized on TIME100 Climate List for Pioneering Environmental Initiatives

New York has played a pivotal role in the Alliance’s achievement of reducing emissions by 24 percent compared to 2005 levels.
The launch of the New York State Adaptation and Resilience Plan marks a comprehensive effort to bolster community readiness for climate change. This initiative integrates various state agency efforts to enhance climate readiness through shoreline restoration and infrastructure upgrades, supported by the $4.2 billion Clean Water, Clean Air and Green Jobs Environmental Bond Act.
