BMW is heralding a new chapter in its automotive journey with the introduction of the first fully electric BMW 3 Series, the BMW i3. This innovative model retains the iconic essence of the 3 Series while integrating cutting-edge electric capabilities. Initially, two fully electric versions will be available, with plans to expand the lineup to include more variants featuring advanced petrol engines and 48V mild hybrid technology. The lineup will also welcome a plug-in hybrid option in the coming year. Among the new offerings, the BMW M350 xDrive stands out as a high-performance model that combines a six-cylinder engine with the dynamism of an M Performance vehicle.
BMW’s strategy for the new 3 Series showcases a diverse approach to automotive technology, blending electric and combustion engine options seamlessly.
